David and his staff we so wonderful! My husband and Paige worked together to custom design my engagement ring, which is BEYOND STUNNING! So of course, we went back for our wedding bands. Mine was fairly easy, again it was custom, diamonds and peridot (our birthstones) but my husband was being picky and hard to please. Paige helped us find several options he liked, so she ordered them in for him, in his size. And finally, we found something he loves! Can't imagine a better jeweler! Oh and I was completely surprised by how reasonably priced everything was! I thought it would be so expensive to have custom rings but it was very affordable!

My husband and I went ring shopping before we got engaged all around the Virginia beach and Chesapeake area of Virginia. I had terrible experiences in every store BUT David Nygaard! In the other stores all of the employees were very pushy and didn't allow you to have a thought or like of your own. When my husband and I walked in to David Nygaard, we were welcomed by Lisa who we fell in love to work with! She allowed us to look around on our own, and the best part was the open glass show cases! We were able to pick things up on our own and try them on! After searching, I found my dream ring! My husband and I decided to make a few modifications to the ring. A few months later he popped the question and the wedding planning was a go! The ring came out just how we asked it to, but unfortunately I did not love it as much as the original. It took me a couple of months, but I finally admitted that this wasn't the dream. We took the drive back to see Lisa. I was extremely nervous, but she was SO nice and SO helpful and understanding about this issue. She immediately put in the order for the original ring, and she allowed me to wear the showcase ring until mine came in! We can't thank her enough for all of the help she has given us! We still go back every now and then to get the rings checked, but we have also enjoyed the friendship we have made with Lisa! I HIGHLY recommend David Nygaard!!! Shopping at David Nygaard was a blast! Engagement ring shopping was on of the most stressful experiences in my life, until I walked in to David Nygaard. I worked with Lisa, and she was awesome! I gave her my price range and she never tried to pressure me out of it or anything! I showed her a picture of my girlfriend at the time and she helped me customize a ring that would fit not only her finger but her personality too!
